Arcadian II Condominium, located on the ocean in Myrtle Beach, SC, already had experience with PatchGuard anodes when they performed balcony repairs. When their seawall needed restoration, they wanted to ensure that the repairs would last and the structure would be in good health for many years to come.
The engineer of record specified a PatchGuard Connect and AMP-UP RB to protect the reinforcing from the harsh coastal environment.
PatchGuard Connect Anodes were installed along the seawall cap during the restoration project. AMP-UP RB was applied to the reinforcing in the seawall in order to protect the steel further and increase the efficiency of the cathodic protection system.
The CP system was designed by Durability, Inc. and installed by Stone Restoration of America.
