Coca-Cola Bottling Facility

Coca-Cola has a bottling facility located in Pembroke Pines, FL. The plant began a restoration project and noticed that corrosion of their concrete elements was worse than initially expected. As a busy, revenue generating facility, it was crucial for Coke to minimize downtime of operations during repairs. They turned to NoCo to quantify how bad the corrosion problem was, and provide a solution to extend the service life of the structure.

NoCo started by perfoming a corrosion condition assessment on various concrete elements throughout the facility, with the goal of identifying how bad the corrosion problem was. A half-cell potential map was performed along with chloride & carbonation testing of concrete cores.

After the condition assessment, NoCo provided PatchGuard Connect anodes for column and slab repairs, and AMP-UP RB Self-Healing Rebar Coating for all new rebar and exposed steel during repairs.
